TRENT PARK - HOUSE OF SECRETS
Hidden beneath the grandeur of Trent Park House was a very different kind of battlefield.
During the Second World War, the British government schemed a covert operation, placing high ranking, captured officials in the spectacular setting of Trent Park. Meanwhile, unbeknown to them, German speaking Jewish refugees, known as the 'Secret Listeners,' worked around the clock in the basement.
What the secret listeners heard provided the Allies with key valuable intelligence, including information relating to Nazi missiles rockets and nuclear weapons. Their work changed the fate of World War II, securing a win for the British and the Allies.
